Algemeen : 3 Weg Referentie luidspreker van Avalon Acoustics

Techniek : De Time is een technisch zeer geavanceerde luidspreker. De behuizing bestaat uit vele lagen HDF, en inwendig zeer zorgvuldig gebraced. Het frontpaneel alleen is al 12cm dik. De luidsprekerunits behoren tot het beste wat er te krijgen is. 2 stuks 30cm Honeycomb woofer in een semi gesloten behuizing. De Avalon Time bevat een poort aan de onderzijde, maar dat is geen bassreflexpoort, het is meer een ontluchting van de energie die opgebouwd wordt in de kast. De middentoner is een keramische concave unit met een neodymium magneet. Zeer snel en zuiver, en dankzij de uitgekiende filtertechniek van Avalon, is deze geheel zonder bijgeluiden. De tweeter is de grote (24mm) pure diamant tweeter van Accuton, ook weer aangedreven door een neodymium magneet. Filtertechnisch gebruikt Avalon een aantal oplossingen die je alleen bij hen terug vindt. Een en ander is afgepast op de behuizing, en ook het front, met een viltlaag. Het front moet blijven zitten voor de beste gehoormatige resultaten.

 

Luisteren :Gehoormatig is de Avalon Time een van de meest Powervolle luidsprekers van Avalon, en niet alleen dat. De Avalon Time kan onvoorstelbaar veel energie in de ruimte sturen. De Bassweergave is vol, en diep en zeer zuiver. Het verschil tussen verschillende bass instrumenten is extreem goed hoorbaar. Het midden gebied is zuiver, tunefull en zeer fijn dynamisch, maar kan ook echt knallen als het nodig is. De hoge tonenweergave is onvoorstelbaar zuiver en verfijnd. Alles dik in orde, maar het is vooral het totaalplaatje wat opvalt. Gewoon een enorm grote geluidbel met zeer veel power en dynamiek, en ook verfijning. De Avalon Time is een luidspreker voor de wat grotere ruimte, 3 x 4 meter volstaat niet. Maar de Time is vrij gemakkelijk te plaatsen, totaal niet kritisch, maar als je het beste er uit wilt halen, dan zal je de Avalon Time moeten aansluiten op een zeer goede versterker, zoals de Bricasti M15. De Avalon Time is net als zijn naam, een tijdmaster. Je verplaatst je met gemak in de ruimte van de originele opname. Heel bijzonder. Deze set Avalon Acoustics Time is uitgevoerd in fraai Curly Maple, ze verkeren in nieuwstaat en zijn compleet met de Manual en de Apex Cones. Technique : The Avalon Time is a technical very advanced loudspeaker. The enclosure consists of many layers HDF, and they are braced very carefully on the inside. The front panel on it’s on is already 12cm thick. The loudspeaker units are a part of the best units that exist today. There are 2 Honeycomb woofers in a semi-closed enclosure. The Avalon Time has a port on the bottom, but it’s not a bassreflex port, it’s more a venting of the the energy wich is built up inside of the enclosure. The midrange unit is a ceramic Concave unit with a Neodymium drive system. Very quick and clean and thanks to the excellent filter technics of Avalon Acostics the midrange unit is completely clear of negative sound effects. The Tweeter is a big (24mm) pure diamond tweeter made by Accuton, also driven by a Neodymium magnet. If it comes to the technique of a filter there are some solutions which you will only find at Avalon Acoustics. The speaker is also adjuted to the front in front of it, so you’ll have to keep the front on the speaker for the best results.

 

Sound : The Avalon Time is one of the most powerful speakers of Avalon Acoustics. The Avalon Time can send a unimagineable amount of energy into your room. The Bass is full, and goes extremely deep whilst remaining clean. You can clearly hear the differences between different bass instruments. The midrange section is clear, tunefull and comfortably dynamic. But it can also play really loud whenever they need to. The high pitched tones are very clear and pure, and they stay that way, no matter how loud you play. All the sections work together to give you a soundstage which is completely in balance.
