DE. Die Avalon Eidolon Vision ist die neueste und beste Ausführung der Eidolon-Serie. Wesentlich anders als die normale Eidolon/N. Die Eidolon Vision wurde von Neil Pattel auf Wunsch vieler entwickelt, die die Eidolon besonders schätzten, aber mehr die Dynamik und Offenheit des Avalon Diamond wollten. So entstand 2004 die Eidolon Vision. Die Eidolon Vision ist ein absoluter Top-Lautsprecher. Sie erzeugt sofort ein riesiges Klangbild, in dem viel passiert. Das Grundrauschen der Eidolon Vision ist enorm niedrig. Sie klingt sehr sauber und offen, und es fällt auf, dass das Klangbild absolut frei von Verzerrungen ist. Andere Lautsprecher klingen dagegen oft unübersichtlich. Das Gehäuse ist aus geschichteten und verklebten HDF-Streifen gefertigt und wirkt wie aus Granit. So steif und resonanzarm. Die Eidolon Vision klingt absolut nicht hart oder scharf, wie es oft bei Lautsprechern mit keramischen Chassis zu hören ist. Neil Pattel versteht es wie kein anderer, die richtige Weiche für diese Top-Chassis zu entwickeln. Die Eidolon Vision ist ein zukünftiger Klassiker und vielleicht der kompletteste Avalon zu einem bezahlbaren Preis. Kraft und Präzision und sehr musikalisch. De ruisvloer van de Eidolon Vision is enorm laag. Hij klinkt erg schoon en open, en het valt op dat het geluidsbeeld absoluut vrij is van vervorming. Andere luidsprekers klinken vaak rommelig hierbij vergeleken De kast is gemaakt van gelaagde en verlijmde stroken HDF en lijkt wel van graniet. Zo stijf en resonantiearm. De Eidolon Vision klinkt absoluut niet hard of scherp, zoals wel vaker te horen is met luidsprekers die keramische units gebruiken. Neil Pattel weet als geen ander het juiste filter te ontwikkelen voor deze top units.
