Sie können die CD und die Spannmutter drehen sehen, was einen extra hohen Spaßfaktor bietet. Allerdings hat BMC das nicht nur aus diesem Grund so gemacht. Die CD-Scheibe wird durch die Spannmutter vollständig ausbalanciert und läuft vibrationsfrei. Die Spindel selbst wird durch einen Riemen angetrieben. Dies dient dazu, die Vibrationen fernzuhalten. Das Ganze ist sehr gelungen und klingt hervorragend. Besonders interessant ist die Kombination mit dem ebenfalls von Ohm Audio angebotenen DAC 1 Vorverstärker / DA-Wandler. BDCD1.1 This is the version with the new drive and Acrylic puck. You can see the puck and CD turning their rounds for an extra high fun factor. Beside that, BMC did it for other reasons. The CD Disc is damped entirely by the puck , for a balanced and vibration-free running. The spindle itself is driven by a belt. This is to keep the vibrations outside. The whole thing is very successful and sounds excellent. Very special is the combination with the BMC Audio DAC1 DAC/Preamp, also offered by Ohm-Audio.
