Technique : Le Stahl Tek Vekian est un véritable convertisseur D/A de référence. Construit autour de 2 convertisseurs D/A mono symétrique, dans une configuration entièrement équilibrée. Le Stahl Tek Vekian est un véritable convertisseur multibit qui accepte les signaux jusqu'à 192 kHz et 32 bits. Cette version du Vekian est la dernière version construite, donc avec l'entrée i2s supplémentaire. L'unité est très stable et robuste, et une grande partie du poids de 25 kg provient de l'alimentation très complète. L'alimentation est entièrement configurée en classe A, ce qui fait que l'unité devient légèrement chaude lors de l'utilisation. Le suréchantillonnage est effectué par un module matériel, un module propre à Stahl Tek. Habituellement, le suréchantillonnage est effectué par un logiciel dans une puce. Écoute : Nous avons écouté le Stahl Tek Vekian en détail sur notre système de référence, incluant le préamplificateur équilibré Bricasti M20 et les monoblocs Bricasti M32, ainsi que les enceintes Blumenhofer Gran Gioia SE. Sur cette installation, vous entendez vraiment tout. La première chose qui frappe, c'est la spatialité. La bulle 3D est plus grande que jamais. Ce qui frappe ensuite est le fait que la restitution se situe un peu plus loin que d'habitude. Mais ce qui frappe le plus, c'est la restitution des détails. Celle-ci est vraiment exceptionnelle. Les détails ressortent d'une manière agréable. En résumé, ce Stahl Tek Vekian est un convertisseur D/A excellent et très musical, et la restitution est sans aucun doute super détaillée et transparente, mais avec une sensation très pur analogique. Ce convertisseur D/A i2s Stahl Tek Vekian est en parfait état et est complètement complet.

Description : Very unique and exclusive high end DAC from Stahl Tek

Technical : The Stahl Tek Vekian is a true reference DAC. It's built around 2 dual mono D/A Converter with Burr Brown chips in a fully balanced design. The Stahl Tek Vekian is a true multibit DAC and accepts formats from 16bit/44.1kHz to 32bit/192kHz. This version of the Stahl Tek Vekian has the extra optional i2s input. The Stahl Tek Vekian is built very stable and it's quite heavy, mostly thanks tot the excellent power supply. The upsampling is being done by hardware, a Stahl Tek module. Most DAC's do their upsampling by using some form of software, but not the Stahl Tek Vekian. Stahl Tek has given a lot of thought into damping all of the components inside of the Vekian, so all the parts are free of resonance and vibrations. The Stahl Tek Vekian is a very thought out DAC with only 1 purpose : to portray the music as analogue and beautiful as possible. And they accomplished that purpose, because the Stahl Tek Vekian is one of the best sounding DAC's we've ever heard.

Sound : We've listened tot he Stahl Tek Vekian on a true reference setconsisting of Blumenhofer Gran Gioia SE, Bricasti M32 monoblocks, Bricasti M20 pre amplifier and an Antipodes K50 server/streamer. On this installation you can hear everything a certain device does and it really lets you hear the character of a device. The first thing we've noticed is the vast amount of space in the soundstage, it's airy, tangible and impactful. There is a 3d image all around you. But what's most unique about this DAC is the amount of detail and refinement, you can hear everything, but it doesn't sound overly analytical or agressive. Acoustic instruments and drums have a nice punch and really sound like a true instrument instead of a replica. In short, this Stahl Tek Vekian is an excellent and very musical DAC, which sounds very detailled and transparent, but feels very clean and analogue sounding. This Stahl Tek Vekian looks like new and comes with the original packaging.
