Technology : The Ansuz Sortz Signature is the best variant of the Sortz, the plug-in upgrade for your equipment that is unmatched. The function is to neutralize environmental radiation, which enters your equipment through unused inputs among other things. The Ansuz Sortz couples the chassis and the plug to a Zirconium antenna, thus preventing unwanted noise from entering. The noise that still enters or is already in the device is absorbed and eliminated in what Ansuz calls the 'Anti Aerial Resonance Coil'. The Anti Aerial Resonance Coil consists of 2 coils created by 1 conductor. First this conductor is wound in one direction and then on the return path in the opposite direction. This makes the conductor an infinite length in which noise is continuously captured and eliminated in the counter coil. Because the counter coil is wound in the opposite direction, the noise passes through it out of phase so that the noise in both coils cancels each other out, somewhat like how a noise cancelling headphone does it but then not electronically. You can place an Ansuz Sortz in every input/output that you don't use, but that is an expensive matter, and we don't recommend it. We standard place 1 or 2 Sortz in 1 or 2 devices. For example the RCA input/output, and then 1 Sortz in the L or R chassis part RCA or for example the Coax input/output of a streamer or DAC. The Ethernet Sortz do their work in routers and network switches and any streamers with more than 1 RJ45 input. You can simply try placing multiple Sortz because the effect of the Sortz stacks on and provides more improvement. There are 3 types of Ansuz Sortz. The Sortz, the Sortz Supreme and the Sortz Signature. All Sortz plugs are housed in an aluminum chassis, and are cryogenically treated for better conduction inside the coils which provides more effective noise reduction. The Ansuz Tesla Coil and Anti Aerial Resonance Coil technology can be found in all 3 types of Sortz. The difference of the Ansuz Sortz, Sortz Supreme and Sortz Signature lies in the outer coating around the connector housing. This seems insignificant, but this outer coating has a major influence on how the Sortz chassis resonates and thus how it sounds. The standard Sortz has no coating layer around the connector housing, the Sortz Supreme has a very fine coating layer consisting of Zirconium, Tungsten and aluminum titanium nitride, this coating layer is applied by HiPIMS (High Power Impulse Magnetron Sputtering). The most expensive and best type of Sortz from Ansuz, the Ansuz Sortz Signature has the same coating layer as the Supreme, but with an additional layer of Zirconium which is also applied via HiPIMS. All Sortz plugs have their own specific sound. Your set will be changed absolutely positively in terms of sound, even if you only place 1 Sortz in one of your devices.

Sound : Our sonic impressions of the Sortz Signature are based on a very good Hifi installation. We place only 1 Sortz Signature RCA in 1 unused RCA input/output. As soon as you plug in the plug, the sound image changes directly. The Signature version sounds different and usually even better than the standard Sortz and Sortz Supreme plug. The pressure and hardness disappear completely, and even more music emerges. Everything just sounds reproduced with more feeling. As if you go from a transistor amplifier to a tube amplifier. Perhaps less spectacular, but much more interesting and pleasant to listen to. The size of the soundstage doesn't seem to grow at first, but when you listen longer it becomes clear that the image grows in all dimensions. The details become much clearer, more precise, and quieter at the same time. The Sortz Signature clearly does other things than the Sortz and the Sortz Supreme plug. We find the Sortz Signature the best plug for the most musical and least technical sound from your installation. We know no other accessory that so specifically changes the sound image positively, on every level, and moreover in such a simple way. Plug in, and listen (enjoy).
