Every component in a Hifi or High End installation influences the sound reproduction. Regarding which component has the greatest influence, we can be brief: it is the loudspeaker. The sound differences between loudspeakers are many times greater than any other component. Place 10 different loudspeakers next to each other and everyone will instantly hear the differences. Therefore, in our opinion, it is wise to use the loudspeaker as the starting point for assembling a good Hifi or High End installation.
In front of the loudspeaker, however, sits an entire audio set, which ensures that the loudspeaker produces what it is capable of. And in that entire set, everything is actually equally important. The chain is only as strong as its weakest link. But every Hifi or High End installation must be built from the real foundation, and that is the power supply. An unstable power supply causes unrest and distortion, and you will never get rid of it, no matter which components you choose.
Ohm-Audio recommends installing the entire power supply with Gigawatt products.

Both brands have their own technology and sonic character, but they have one thing in common: they will raise the musicality of your audio installation to a much higher level compared to a standard power strip or no power strip (connected directly to the wall). In our view, connecting a power amplifier to your high-end power distributor or conditioner is also advisable, but it does depend on which distributor or conditioner you have; not all of them can handle the high and fluctuating voltage that a power amplifier requires equally well. To briefly indicate the sequence:
Power. So ensure a separate power group for audio. If that is not possible, then at least ensure a good installation cable and wall outlet, and connect a high-quality power distributor or power conditioner to it. Source. Ensure a good CD player, Streamer or turntable.
Amplifier: Make sure the amplifier in terms of quality, power and character is matched to the loudspeakers Cables: Ensure the correct power cables, interlinks (analog and/or digital) between the sources and the correct loudspeaker cables. Pure conductors, high-quality connectors and good shielding.
