The fourth and newest brand of Audio Group Denmark: Axxess
Axxess: Axxess is the fourth and newest brand of Audio Group Denmark, developed to make the high-quality sound of Audio Group Denmark more accessible to a large number of people. The 3 other brands of Audio Group Denmark are: Aavik Acoustics, Ansuz Acoustics and Børresen Acoustics. All these brands are designed by the same designers and manufactured in the same factory, which means these 4 brands also share the distinctive yet highly effective techniques of Audio Group Denmark with each other. Axxess was launched in April 2023, and the first products made by this brand are the streaming amplifiers from the Forté series. The Forté series consists of 3 types: the Forté 1, the Forté 2 and the Forté 3. And meanwhile, speakers, cables, power distributors and decoupling feet are also available under the Axxess name, with network switches also in sight in the near future.
Axxess Forté: Axxess enters the market with the introduction of their Forté line. A line consisting of all-in-one streaming amplifiers with DAC functionality and built-in headphone amplifier. The Axxess Forté series features the same technologies found in the other brands of Audio Group Denmark. The Axxess Forté streaming amplifiers are equipped with noise-suppressing Ansuz Tesla Coils (including the latest generation Zirconium Tesla Coils in the case of the Forté 2 and Forté 3) and the music signal enhancing 3rd generation Dither Circuitry. The chassis is made of the natural composite also used in Aavik Acoustics devices. Additionally, the Axxess Forté streaming amplifiers stand on Ansuz Darkz feet, which are designed to sit on top of the Axxess Noir or Ansuz Darkz decouplers, for people who want to get more musicality out of their Axxess Forté. Actually, this is a must if you want to achieve the full potential of your Axxess Forté amplifier, power distributor or network switch.
Axxess Speakers: Axxess also makes high-quality speakers with an unprecedented price/quality ratio. Axxess currently makes 2 speakers: the Axxess L1 standmount speaker and the Axxess L3 floorstanding speaker. With the Axxess L1 you have the option to purchase the accompanying Axxess Stands, which are specifically designed for the Axxess L1 speakers and fit seamlessly with the modern L1 design, additionally you can screw the L1 to these stands for stable and risk-free placement. The Axxess speakers share many characteristics of the more expensive Borresen Acoustics speakers. The very light driver membranes made of 2-ply spread tow carbon with a honeycomb aramide (kevlar) interlayer are the same as those used in the Borresen X-series. The voice coil of these drivers is made of titanium instead of aluminum, as titanium does not generate hysteresis which causes much resistance. By using titanium voice coils, the woofer can move more freely without resistance, resulting in a much more dynamic and natural reproduction. The cabinet is narrow and deep, just like Borresen speakers, however the cabinet is somewhat more simply finished and not finished with carbon and high-gloss, the cabinet of the Axxess speakers is finished in matte black or satin white. Particularly striking is the wide baffle that protrudes, which is attached with magnets to the front of the speakers. The Axxess speakers are very similar to the Borresen Acoustics speakers, yet they also sound different, due to the use of a completely different tweeter. The tweeter in the Axxess speakers is a kapton ribbon tweeter, and not the in-house produced ribbon tweeters from Borresen. This tweeter is taller but narrower than the Borresen tweeters, although it does not have a moving mass of 0.01 grams like the Borresen tweeters, the Axxess tweeter is still 25 times lighter than the average conventional dome tweeter. In terms of sound, the Axxess speakers are very detailed, dynamic, powerful, tight and spatial. You get an enormous amount of the recording and the music takes place in an airy and very well-organized soundstage.

Axxess Cables: The Axxess cabling is strongly based on the X3 cabling of Ansuz Acoustics, but more affordable. For the Axxess cables, as Audio Group Denmark always does, much attention has been paid to optimizing resonance behavior and shielding and achieving the lowest possible noise floor. The Axxess cables are solidcore and extremely well shielded for the best mechanical stability. Loose cables resonate more and also retain vibrations in the conductors, resulting in a scattered sound with more compression. The Axxess cables are tightly shielded with Teflon and covered with a layer of tinted copper mesh. The conductors are solidcore conductors of pure silver-plated copper. A new mineral-rich material has been specially developed for the Axxess cabling for the connector housings, ultimately it amounts to a kind of processed bakelite. This material ensures pleasant resonance behavior that does not negatively affect sound quality.
At the moment Axxess makes the following cables:
Axxess Power Distributors: Axxess recently started making power distributors for optimally distributing and providing stable and clean power to your equipment. The power distributors are housed in a beautiful specially developed enclosure, designed to have as little trouble with resonances as possible. This enclosure also owes its sleek appearance to the design talent of Flemming Rasmussen. However, the best thing is to also place your Axxess Power Distributor on Axxess Noir or Ansuz Darkz decouplers for the best performance. The Axxess Power Distributor comes in 2 versions: the standard version and the SE version. Both versions have 4 outputs and internally use Star Ground Technology to minimize interference between the various connected devices and provide optimal ground connection. The SE version features extra noise cancelling technology that the standard version does not have, namely the highly effective Gold Anti Aerial Resonance Coil technique also used in Ansuz Acoustics and Aavik Acoustics equipment. The SE version thus provides an even cleaner signal compared to the standard version. The upcoming Axxess Network Switch will also come in a standard and SE version.
Axxess Noir: Finally, Axxess also makes decouplers called the Noir, based on the Ansuz Darkz decouplers. The Axxess Noir are decouplers consisting of 3 discs with 3 titanium balls in the intermediate layers (2 intermediate layers, so 6 titanium balls in total). The 3 discs are made of the same mineral-rich composite (bakelite) from which the connector housings of the Axxess cables are made, due to the excellent resonant properties of this material. The titanium balls in the intermediate layers ensure that vibrations are converted into kinetic energy. What these feet do is not absorb all resonances, but instead the resonances are 'smoothed out' in a certain way so that the resonances are rendered harmless in order not to negatively affect musicality. You can place the Axxess Noir decouplers anywhere, from speakers, electronics such as amplifiers/streamers/DACs and also peripheral equipment such as routers, power supplies and network switches. The Axxess Noir can support a lot of weight and also have a spike base built in so you can also place equipment or speakers with spikes on them. If you want to place the Axxess Noir under an Audio Group Denmark device, you do this by placing 12 titanium or tungsten balls (3 per decoupler) in the intended indentations on top of the decouplers and then placing the decouplers under the 4 feet of the device. If you have equipment from another brand, you can simply place the Axxess Noir directly under the bottom plate, not under the feet of your equipment. The Axxess Noir decouplers are only sold as a set of 4 pieces.
