General: The Sonus Faber Olympica Nova III is the higher-positioned successor to the Sonus Faber Olympica III

Technology: The Sonus Faber Olympica Nova III is an entirely newly developed speaker. The Sonus Faber Olympica Nova III is now made from solid wooden panels which are shaped in a mold. The characteristic asymmetric cabinet is complex, and is bent into the correct shape in one process. The Stealth Bass reflex port is special, and it provides full and pure bass without a dominant & resonating low end when you place the speakers close to the back wall. The drivers themselves are also new. The larger woofers have a lightweight cellulose cone, set in high-tech foam. A sandwich cone, so to speak. The tweeter is a silk dome with an apex point to suppress resonances. The midrange driver is also made of slowly dried paper and has a copper-coated aluminum voice coil. The components in the crossover filter are also of very high quality. Thanks to the somewhat larger bass units, the Sonus Faber Nova III has a very favorable efficiency of 90dB/1w/1m. All drivers are secured in the genuine leather-clad front. Under the cabinet are stainless steel rods with excellent spikes. The new Sonus Faber Nova series is a special product.
