Technical : The Nime Elite One is the first speaker from Italian Nime Audio Design which really broke through in the market, and it was also Nime Audio Design's biggest challenge to create due to the very special design and the beautiful, one-piece stainless steel integrated stand. The Nime Elite One follows the unique elongated cabinet design with integrated stand by Nime Audio Design which you also find in the Mya, the Elite Two and the Elite One S. Yet the Nime Elite One is somewhat different from the other models of Nime Audio Design. The Nime Elite One has a beautiful, completely one-piece stainless steel triangular design stand which is integrated under the speaker. The WBT speaker connections of the Nime Elite One are located on the stand, as the crossovers are also integrated in the stands, which means the crossovers have no negative influence on the tweeter and woofer and vice versa. The Nime Elite One has a bass reflex port on the rear of the speaker, but the Nime Elite One can be easily placed close to the rear wall. All units used come from German Accuton, a brand that makes drivers for a wide range of high end brands including Marten Design, Gauder Akustik, Tidal Audio and Estelon to name a few. The cabinet of the Nime Elite One is made of a thick composite with high density and excellent damping properties. On the inside, the cabinet is fitted with thick steel reinforcements which increase the rigidity of the cabinet and reduce internal resonances. The Nime Elite One is made with only the best parts and materials, nothing was spared anywhere, and you immediately hear this reflected in the sound reproduction.

Listening : The Nime Elite One sounds fantastic. The Nime Elite One is a speaker that articulates extremely well and delivers a tight and transparent soundstage. Because the cabinet of the Nime Elite One is very stiff and has a unique shape, internal resonances are very well eliminated, which ensures a very clean and tight reproduction without any turbidity. The bass is rhythmic, tight and goes deeper than you would expect from a 2-way standmount speaker. What also stands out when listening to the Nime Elite One is how effortlessly everything sounds. The sound comes easily from the speakers and you are treated to a spatial, transparent and open sound. The midrange and treble reproduction is very precise and sparkling without sounding harsh or shrill. The Nime Elite One is a speaker like no other and sets new standards in terms of design and sound reproduction.
