General : The Ansuz Darkz S2T is a footer that controls mechanical resonance for all types of audio equipment and speakers. The Ansuz Darkz S2T can be placed loose under the bottom plate of equipment. For audio equipment with a 4mm, 6mm or 8mm threaded hole on the underside, it is better to purchase the Ansuz Darkz Feet separately. Once you have installed the Ansuz Darkz Feet under your equipment or speaker, you have the option to choose between Titanium or Tungsten balls from Ansuz, which you can then place on the Ansuz Darkz S2T in the designated indentations on top. You need 3 balls per Darkz S2T. The Ansuz Darkz Feet then fit perfectly over these balls for perfect decoupling and improved sound. This also looks better aesthetically. Equipment from Audio Group Denmark (Ansuz Acoustics, Aavik Acoustics, Børresen Acoustics) comes standard with Darkz Feet mounted.

Technical : The Ansuz Darkz S2T decoupler consists of 3 discs/layers made of solid CNC machined stainless steel. By using stainless steel instead of aluminum, the resonance absorbing properties of the Darkz S2T are significantly better than those of the more affordable C2T. Between each layer are 3 balls made of solid Titanium; each Ansuz Darkz S2T contains 6 Titanium balls. This design ensures that vibrations from the surface are controlled. This results in less resonance in your equipment or speaker cabinet, which in turn provides a more stress-free, quieter and clearer sound.

Listening : The Ansuz Darkz S2T provides a very audible improvement to the sound image, regardless of what type of equipment or speaker you place them under. The sound image becomes calmer, cleaner, more intelligible and simply more interesting. The Ansuz Darkz S2T also helps reduce listener fatigue, the sound is better balanced and less restless. Due to the materials used, the Ansuz Darkz S2T sounds more organic and refined than the more affordable Darkz C2T from Ansuz.

Ansuz Acoustics Darkz Balls : There are currently 2 types of Ansuz Darkz Balls available for those who want to place Ansuz Darkz S2T under their equipment in combination with the Ansuz Darkz Feet. You can choose between Titanium Balls or Tungsten Balls. The Tungsten Balls weigh 4 times the weight of the Titanium Balls, thereby significantly improving the resonance absorbing properties. The difference in sound is that the Tungsten Balls sound fuller, more pleasant and more spacious than the already excellent Titanium balls.
