General : The Ansuz Darkz Z2 Signature is the optimal isolation system for the finest audio equipment and speakers. The Ansuz Darkz Z2 Signature can be placed loose under the bottom plate of equipment. For audio equipment with a 4mm, 6mm or 8mm threaded insert on the underside, it is better to purchase the Ansuz Darkz Feet as well. Once you have mounted the Ansuz Darkz Feet under your equipment or speaker, you have the option to choose between Ansuz Titanium or Tungsten balls, which you can then place on the Ansuz Darkz Z2 Signature in the pre-drilled indentations on top. You need 3 balls per Darkz Z2 Signature. The Ansuz Darkz Feet then fit perfectly over these balls for perfect isolation and improved sound. This also looks aesthetically better. Equipment from Audio Group Denmark (Ansuz Acoustics, Aavik Acoustics, Børresen Acoustics, Axxess) comes with Darkz Feet mounted as standard.

Technical : The Ansuz Darkz Z2 Signature isolator consists of 3 discs/layers made of solid Zirconium which are then coated with Ansuz Signature Coating consisting of a Zirconium and Tungsten layer, followed by an additional coating layer consisting of aluminum titanium nitride, and finally an extra layer of Zirconium. This coating is applied to the discs in a Hi-PIMS (High Power Impulse Magnetron Sputtering) machine to create the finest and most uniform coating layer. By using Zirconium in combination with the Ansuz Signature Coating instead of stainless steel, aluminum or Titanium, the resonance absorbing properties of the Darkz Z2 Signature are the best of all Ansuz Darkz. Between each layer are 3 balls made of solid Tungsten, each Ansuz Darkz Z2 Signature contains 6 Tungsten balls. This design ensures that vibrations from the surface are absorbed. This results in fewer resonances in your equipment or speaker cabinet, which in turn creates a more stress-free and quieter sound.

Listening : The Ansuz Darkz Z2 Signature provides a highly audible improvement to the soundstage, regardless of what type of equipment or speaker you place them under. The soundstage becomes calmer, cleaner, more intelligible and simply more interesting. The bass becomes tighter and more rhythmic and voices sound more natural/organic. You listen less to a recording, and more to music. The Ansuz Darkz Z2 Signature also ensures that listening fatigue occurs less quickly; the sound is better balanced and less murky. Due to the materials used, the Ansuz Darkz Z2 Signature sounds more organic, refined, spacious, deeper, tighter and more detailed than the Darkz C2T, S2T, T2 and T2 Supreme from Ansuz. Unfortunately, the Ansuz Darkz Z2 Signature is not available in an adjustable version. The best option for an adjustable Darkz is the Darkz T2 Supreme Adjustable. With adjustable Darkz you can adjust the bottom disc so you can level your equipment or speakers on uneven floors.

Ansuz Acoustics Darkz Balls : There are currently 2 types of Ansuz Darkz Balls available for those who want to place Ansuz Darkz Z2 Signature under their equipment in combination with the Ansuz Darkz Feet. You can choose between Titanium Balls or Tungsten Balls. The Tungsten Balls weigh 4 times the weight of the Titanium Balls, which greatly improves the resonance absorbing properties. The difference in sound is that the Tungsten Balls sound fuller, more pleasant and more spacious than the already excellent Titanium balls.
