General: The Ansuz Acoustics Signalz A3 is the latest analog interlink from the A-series by Ansuz Acoustics from Denmark. The Ansuz Signalz A3 replaces the Signalz A2. The new Signalz A3 is the most affordable analog interlink from the Copper Series by Ansuz Acoustics. The Copper Series by Ansuz is called the Copper Series because the housing of the gold-plated connectors and cable splitter blocks are made from solid copper. The predecessor of the Signalz A3, the Signalz A2, had connectors in an aluminum housing. And for Ansuz Acoustics, that is a problem. Audio Group Denmark (under which Ansuz operates) is always researching different materials. Titanium, Copper, Stainless Steel, and even Zirconium are frequently used. Ansuz is working to completely avoid aluminum in its new products. Aluminum has a negative effect on sound; it gives an artificial tone due to its resonance behavior and causes hysteresis. Instead of solving the problems caused by aluminum later, Audio Group Denmark chose to tackle the problem at the source and no longer use aluminum in its products. The conductors are silver-plated and stripped by a special machine to avoid damaging the conductor surface. The Ansuz Signalz A3 is a very stiffly twisted cable which reduces noise in the conductors and improves mechanical stability, yet the cable remains easy to handle. Compared to the Signalz X3, the Ansuz Signalz A3 uses Double Inverted Helix Coils (DIHC) in addition to the solid core main conductors. The Ansuz Signalz A3 has a greater quantity of DIHC compared to the Signalz X-TC3, so even less noise enters the signal and less inductance is generated. The conductors are effectively isolated in Teflon with a tinned copper mesh wrapped around it. The Ansuz Signalz A3 is handmade in the factory of Audio Group Denmark in Aalborg, Denmark.

Sound Characteristics: The Ansuz Acoustics Signalz A3 has a natural, powerful, and spatial sound. The bass is deep, tight, and rhythmic, and the dynamics are in great order. The Ansuz Signalz A3 clearly has more quietness in the sound and an even more pronounced soundstage compared to the already excellent Ansuz Signalz X-TC3 analog interlink. More happens in the sound image and you hear more layers in the recording. The sound is transparent as it should be, but it is not unnecessary spectacle. You recognize this in the Ansuz character, which essentially all Ansuz cables have. Everything you hear is pure music. We could talk about certain details and accents, but with Ansuz Acoustics we don't need to discuss that. Instead, we focus on the enormous musical qualities that Ansuz Acoustics products bring with them. The Ansuz Signalz A3 is absolutely no exception to this. The spatial imaging is large, airy, and pleasant, and you are immediately engaged with the performers and the music. The time to listen to sounds is over; the time to listen to music has begun.
