General : The Ansuz Acoustics Signalz C3 is the latest analog interlink from the C-series of Ansuz Acoustics from Denmark. The Ansuz Signalz C3 replaces the Signalz C2. The new Signalz C3 is the mid-range analog interlink from the Copper Series of Ansuz Acoustics. The Copper Series of Ansuz is called the Copper Series because the housing of the gold-plated connectors and cable splitter blocks are made of solid copper. The predecessor of the Signalz C3, the Signalz C2, had connectors in an aluminum housing. And for Ansuz Acoustics that's a problem. Audio Group Denmark (under which Ansuz falls) is constantly investigating different materials. Titanium, Copper, Stainless Steel and even Zirconium are frequently used. Ansuz is working to completely avoid aluminum in its new products. Aluminum has a negative effect on the sound; it gives an artificial tone due to its resonance behavior and causes hysteresis. Instead of solving the problems caused by aluminum later, Audio Group Denmark has chosen to address the problem at the source and therefore no longer use aluminum in its products. The conductors are silver-plated and are stripped by a special machine to avoid damaging the conductor surface. The Ansuz Signalz C3 is a very stiff twisted cable which results in less noise in the conductors and improved mechanical stability, yet the cable is easy to handle. With the Ansuz Signalz C3, in addition to the solidcore main conductors, use is made of Double Inverted Helix Coils (DIHC). The Ansuz Signalz C3 has a larger amount of DIHC compared to the Signalz A3 and X-TC3, so less noise enters the signal and less induction is generated. In addition, in the Ansuz Signalz C3 compared to the Ansuz Signalz A3, Ansuz Anti Aerial Resonance Coils (AARC) are also applied. Because the Ansuz Signalz C3 also has the AARC technology, less noise from outside enters your equipment than with the Ansuz Signalz C3, X-TC3 and X3. The conductors are effectively isolated in Teflon with a tinned copper mesh around it; in the case of the Signalz C3, double insulation is even applied whereas the Signalz A3, X-TC3 and X3 have single insulation. The Ansuz Signalz C3 is hand-made in the factory of Audio Group Denmark in Aalborg, Denmark.

Sound Characteristics : The Ansuz Acoustics Signalz C3 has a natural, powerful and spatial sound. The bass is deep, tight and rhythmic and the dynamics are excellent. Compared to the Signalz A3, the Signalz C3 has more air, more energy and more liveliness. While the amount of clarity and detail increases. The sound image is more defined and the soundstage is better laid out and more balanced. The Ansuz Signalz C3 is yet another clear step better than the already excellent Signalz A3. More happens in the sound image and you hear more layers in the recording. The sound is transparent as it should be but it's not unnecessary spectacle; this is reflected in the Ansuz character that essentially all Ansuz cables have. Everything you hear is pure music; we could talk about certain details and accents. But with Ansuz Acoustics, we don't need to talk about that; instead, we talk about the enormous musical qualities that Ansuz Acoustics products bring with them. The Ansuz Signalz C3 is absolutely no exception to this. The spatial imaging is large, airy and pleasant and you are immediately involved with the performers and the music. The time to listen to sounds is over; the time to listen to music has begun.
