General : The Ansuz Acoustics Signalz D2 is the first model in the Signalz reference series by Ansuz Acoustics from Denmark. The Signalz reference series utilize Active Tesla Coil Technology, the most effective method of noise reduction and inductance reduction that Ansuz Acoustics has to offer. The cable is finished to the highest standards with premium gold-plated connectors in an aluminum housing and effective shielding. The Ansuz Acoustics Signalz D2 features the unique 'Direct Ground Connector' (a technique that ensures that the ground potential between different devices is minimized, resulting in a lower noise floor), and also uses DIHC (Double Inverted Helix Coil) (a technique where the cables are wound and configured in a special way in a double helix pattern that reduces self-inductance in the cable) and the RCA version also uses the AARC (Anti Aerial Resonance Coil) technology, this technology ensures that the cables cannot function as an antenna and therefore do not pick up noise from the air. What further distinguishes the D2 from the lower models is the use of Active Tesla Coil technology, the active Tesla Coils are 3-4 times more effective than the passive Tesla Coils. The Active Tesla Coils operate under voltage and must be powered by an Ansuz PowerSwitch or PowerBox via the supplied DC cable. This DC cable can optionally be upgraded with an Ansuz Acoustics TC Linkz cable. The Ansuz Signalz D2 is a clear step forward compared to the previous generation cables and the lower model interlinks from Ansuz Acoustics.

Sound Characteristics : The Ansuz Acoustics Signalz D2 has an enormously natural and organic sound, just like all other cables and products from Ansuz Acoustics. The sound of the Ansuz Acoustics Signalz D2 is not necessarily very different in character from that of the lower X2, P2, A2 and C2 series, but the sound is clearly more beautiful, better defined and more spacious. You hear more layers in the recording and the soundstage is deeper and quieter. Everything you hear is pure music, we could talk about the body of the bass and the detail in the treble. But with Ansuz Acoustics we don't need to talk about that, instead we talk about the enormous musical qualities that Ansuz Acoustics products bring with them. The reference-class Signalz D2 is absolutely no exception to this. The spatial imaging is large, airy and pleasant and you are immediately engaged with the performers and the music.
