The Norstone Älva Plus is a more solid and slightly elevated version of the standard Älva stands from the French brand Norstone. The Norstone Älva Plus is a beautiful and affordable speaker stand, suitable for small monitor speakers up to 20 kg each. The Norstone Älva Plus features a massive metal base plate and bottom plate, with spikes screwed into the bottom plate, unlike the standard Älva which has a glass base plate with rubber feet adhered underneath. Between the top plate and the base plate is a beautiful walnut support. We ourselves use the Norstone Älva Plus as a more affordable alternative to the Carrara stands under the Sonus Faber Minima Amator II. The Norstone Älva Plus is only supplied in walnut finish.
