General : The Atacama Evoque Eco 65-60 SE2 is a high end hifi rack with stylish design and very solid and durable build quality. Suitable for audio and video equipment. The Atacama Evoque Eco 65-60 SE2 rack is finished to the highest standard with solid bamboo shelves, choice of a light bamboo finish or a dark bamboo finish. These shelves are supported by sturdy hollow steel tubes, choice of black or white tubes. Because the tubes are hollow, you have the option to fill them to eliminate resonances. We sell Norstone Metal Beads or Atacama Atabites for this purpose, these are specially developed filling materials with excellent resonance properties for optimal musical performance. As a more economical solution you can of course also simply fill the tubes with sand or gravel. Each module stands on 4 tubes which have sharp spikes on the bottom, each shelf in turn has 4 dimples in the corners where the spikes of the shelf above can be placed. The end result is a solid and stable whole. Because it is an open rack on all sides you can easily access the back of the rack for cable connections, as an added benefit everything ventilates well compared to a closed cabinet which allows any heat from equipment to disperse easily.
