Functionality: The Hifi Rose RS150b comes standard with various popular applications pre-installed. The following applications are included: Tidal, Qobuz, Spotify, Rose Tube (YouTube with music only). The Hifi Rose RS150b is also Roon Ready and can therefore be placed behind a Roon Server as a player. These apps can be controlled directly via the touchscreen on the front, but of course also via the HiFi Rose app called 'Rose Connect' on your phone or tablet. You can also control the Hifi Rose RS150b with the included remote control. The display is fully customizable, so you can have it display multiple things. You can fully dim the display, you can play YouTube videos on it, but you can also set the display to show VU-meters where you can choose the color yourself. This way, the appearance of the display can be adjusted to your personal preferences. Via the HDMI-ARC connection, you can connect the Hifi Rose RS150b directly to a television, allowing concerts from YouTube to really come to life. You can output videos up to 4K resolution to the television at 60 FPS. With its many digital inputs and outputs, the RS150b can also be used as a standalone server/streamer or as a D/A converter for, for example, a CD player or Blu-Ray player. Internet radio and podcasts can also be played by the Hifi Rose RS150b. Hifi Rose also makes a CD drive/ripper, the Hifi Rose RSA780, with which you can rip CDs to add them to the optional internal SSD, or you can play the CDs directly.

Sound: The Hifi Rose RS150b is a clean-sounding streamer with sound that is rich in detail. The sound is clear, refined, and with a tight and solid bass reproduction. The sound is beautifully balanced and is absolutely not inferior to other similarly priced streamers that don't even have a quarter of the connections and capabilities of the Hifi Rose RS150b.
