General : Top model USB-A Noise Suppressor from the previous Sortz series. Effective noise suppression for unused USB-A inputs or outputs.

Technical : The Ansuz Sortz USB-A Signature features multiple Anti Aerial Resonance Coils (AARC). These are effective double coils wound in opposite directions around a massive zirconium rod. These AARC are effective in eliminating noise, not only the noise entering the device through unused inputs or outputs, but also the noise already present in the device. The effect is immediately noticeable once you insert the Ansuz Sortz USB-A Signature into your streamer/DAC/Television or other audio/video device with USB-A port. The housing of the Ansuz Sortz USB-A Signature is made of anodized aluminum, with 2 coating layers around the aluminum applied using a High Impulse Magnetron Sputtering machine. The first coating layer is the Ansuz Supreme coating which consists of Zirconium, Tungsten and Titanium Nitride. The second coating layer is an additional layer of Zirconium over the Supreme coating. This may seem insignificant, but this outer coating has a significant influence on how the Sortz housing resonates and thus how it sounds. Your system will be absolutely positively altered sonically, even if you place just 1 Sortz in 1 of your devices.

Sound : Our sonic impressions of the Ansuz Sortz USB-A Signature are based on a very good Hi-Fi system. We place only 1 Sortz USB-A Signature in 1 unused USB port. Once you insert the plug, the sound image changes immediately. There is less compression in the sound, and there is less resonance in the bass. The bass is tighter and in recordings with multiple voices and/or instruments there is much more distinction and intelligibility to be found. The sound becomes less raw/robust, but more emotional and musical. Simply more interesting and more enjoyable to listen to.
