General: The Ansuz Acoustics Signalz D2 is the first model in the Signalz reference series from Ansuz Acoustics in Denmark. The Signalz reference series utilizes Active Tesla Coil Technology, the most effective noise reduction and inductance reduction method that Ansuz Acoustics has to offer. The cable is finished to a very high standard with premium gold-plated connectors in an aluminum housing and effective shielding. The Ansuz Acoustics Signalz D2 features the unique 'Direct Ground Connector' (a technique that minimizes the ground potential between different devices, resulting in a lower noise floor), and also uses DIHC (Double Inverted Helix Coil). What sets the D2 apart from the lower models is the use of Active Cable Tesla Coil technology. The active Tesla Coils are 3-4 times more effective than the passive Tesla Coils. The Active Tesla Coils operate under voltage and must be powered from an Ansuz PowerSwitch or PowerBox via the included DC cable. This DC cable can optionally be upgraded with an Ansuz Acoustics TC Linkz cable. The Ansuz Signalz D2 is a clear step forward compared to the previous generation cables and the lower model interlinks from Ansuz Acoustics.

Sound Characteristics: The Ansuz Acoustics Signalz D2 has an enormously natural and organic sound, just like all other cables and products from Ansuz Acoustics. The sound of the Ansuz Acoustics Signalz D2 is not necessarily very different in character from that of the lower X2, P2, A2 and C2 series, but the sound is clearly more beautiful, better defined and more spacious. You hear more layers in the recording and the soundstage is deeper and quieter. Everything you hear is pure music. We could talk about the body of the bass and the detail in the treble, but at Ansuz Acoustics we don't need to discuss that. Instead, we talk about the enormous musical qualities that Ansuz Acoustics products bring with them. The reference-class Signalz D2 is certainly no exception to this. The spatial imaging is large, airy and pleasant, and you are immediately engaged with the performers and the music. The time for listening to sounds has passed, the time for listening to music has begun.
