General : The Antipodes K30 is a high-end USB and UTP Directstream Reference Streamer from Antipodes Audio New Zealand. The Antipodes K30 implements all technologies that were introduced in the Antipodes OLADRA Project. Refinement, three-dimensionality, dynamics, timbre and resolution are exceptionally good and arguably this is the best-sounding music server/streamer in its price class. The Antipodes K30 technically avoids everything in order to allow you to experience the emotional impact of the original recording in full.

Dual Mainboard : The Antipodes K30 has 2 separately powered and isolated computing engines and 2 separate mainboards. First, there is the powerful computer engine to enable the Server Apps to effortlessly handle a massive music library, reconstruct internet streams to restore the sound quality of the original file, process DSP functions without quality loss, and send the cleanest possible stream to the Player app. Second, there is the advanced player engine with its own mainboard, to run the selected player app. This is to operate the exceptionally good USB audio output and to power any separate Reclocker. The K30 therefore has no AES3, SPDIF, Toslink and I2S outputs, and no external Clock connection. For that you will need to look at the Antipodes K50 or K22. Install your own SSDs in the K30 or have them installed for you by your HiFi dealer up to a maximum of 16TB! Add USB drives to play directly from them. Add music files located elsewhere on your network. Upload music files anywhere on your network. Add internet streaming services such as Qobuz and Tidal. Connect a USB CD Ripper (such as the HiFi Rose RSA780) to import music from your CDs. All easily configured by the user to form a single integrated music library available to all selected playback solutions. Simply select the playback solutions you want to use, from the world's best suppliers of advanced digital audio software. Stream via Direct Ethernet connection to an external player, or with USB audio to your DA Converter and stream simultaneously via your network to streaming devices. Configure and operate everything from your desktop, laptop, tablet or smartphone.
