General : The Hifi Rose RS130 is the latest creation from Korean Hifi Rose. It is a digital streamer without built-in DAC packed with functionality and featuring a large 14.9 inch IPS touchscreen.

Technology : The first thing that stands out about the Hifi Rose RS130 is its stylish design and large touchscreen display on the front. The IPS technology of this screen provides realistic color reproduction and a wide viewing angle, which means the display is easy to read from many different angles. The display of the Hifi Rose RS130 provides a luxurious appearance, and the build quality and operation of the Hifi Rose RS130 feel the same way. Anyone can use the Hifi Rose RS130 on the go; that's what it was made for. The housing is manufactured from a single solid block of aluminum which is then shaped using a CNC milling machine into a beautiful whole. The Hifi Rose RS130 can be equipped with an SSD drive to store music, up to 4TB can be installed easily. The Hifi Rose RS130 can also retrieve music from external network locations such as a NAS or NUC, and it is also possible to play music from an external USB storage location such as a Hard Drive or USB stick. The Hifi Rose RS130 can handle virtually all formats such as PCM up to 32bit/768kHz, DXD, MP3, AAC, FLAC, ALAC and even DSD files up to DSD512. It also has a built-in MQA decoder so you can also play the High Res MQA files from Tidal. The power supply used is an extremely high-quality, powerful and stable linear power supply with a large ring core transformer. The PCBs are efficiently laid out and developed to prevent noise, which provides cleaner sound reproduction with more clarity and detail.

Functionality : The Hifi Rose RS130 comes standard with various commonly used applications installed. The following applications are available : Tidal, Qobuz, Spotify Connect, RoseTube. The Hifi Rose RS130 is also RoonReady and can therefore also be placed behind a Roon Server as a player. The apps can be controlled directly via the touchscreen on the front but of course also via the HiFi Rose app called 'Rose Connect' on your phone or tablet, this app can be downloaded on both Android and IOS devices, there is also a Windows version for computers. You can also control the Hifi Rose RS130 with the supplied remote control. The display is fully adjustable, so you can have the display show multiple things. You can fully dim the display, you can play Youtube videos from it, but you can also set the display to show VU-meters of which you can choose the color yourself. The appearance of the display can be adapted to your personal preferences. Via the HDMI output you can connect the Hifi Rose RS130 directly to a television, which makes concerts from Youtube come to life, you can output videos up to 4k resolution to the television, at 60 FPS even. Thanks to the many digital outputs, the RS130 can be used in combination with virtually any high-end D/A Converter. There are also clock inputs to connect an external clock. Internet radio and podcasts can also be played by the Hifi Rose RS130. Hifi Rose also makes a CD drive/ripper, the Hifi Rose RSA780, from which you can rip CDs to add them to the optional internal SSD, or you can play the CDs directly.
