Technology : The Ansuz D2 level cables are the result of years of development of High End cables in digital and analog fields. Ansuz Acoustics uses their own Direct Ground Connector (DGC) technology ( a technique that minimizes the ground potential between different devices, resulting in a lower noise floor ), as well as their Double Inverted Helix Coil technology (DIHC) ( a technique where the cables are wound and configured in a special way in a double helix pattern which reduces self-inductance in the cable ) and also their Noise Suppressing Coil technology (NSC). Fine terms but in practice they mean a lot for the final sound quality. The dielectric used is not only of very high quality, but it is also dynamically charged (DCD). The D2 level cables also contain active Tesla Coils (ATC). Furthermore, the cable has been made insensitive to other cables nearby, using the Anti Aerial Resonance Coil (AARC) technique. By default, Ansuz Acoustics swears by open banana connectors. They also make these in-house. The fit is sublime and the cable sits very firmly in the connector. You can also choose the in-house made heavily gold-plated spade connectors. The connectors are made of copper and heavily gold-plated. The Ansuz Speakz D2 speaker cable is an easy cable. No huge blocks on the cable, but a nice flexibility. Not too stiff, not too loose. Just right. Sound Characteristics : We have very extensive experience with various types and brands of speaker cables. Many brands have their own characteristics and traits. For example, one brand focuses on a large 3D image, another focuses on dynamics, yet another goes for peace, and there are also speaker cables that beautifully fill the midrange and others focus on detail reproduction and so on and so forth. However, these Ansuz Speakz D2 speaker cables seem to combine all the qualities of the different High End brands. When connecting a new set of Ansuz Speakz D2, a few things immediately stood out. This is a special cable and it does special things with the sound image. Cold out of the box, already in a very positive sense. But the real fun only begins after a short break-in period. Unbelievably how these Ansuz Speakz D2 perfected the sound image in our listening rooms. The sound is fantastically analog and holds attention very well, the emotional transfer is unprecedented. For best results, it is recommended to also connect the Ansuz Speakz D2 to an Ansuz PowerBox or PowerSwitch via the included Tesla Coil cables with 3.5mm jack connectors.
