The Lector Digicode S192 is the top model R2R ladder network DA Converter from Lector Italy. The Lector Digicode S-192 is based on the outstanding Digicode 704 DA Converter, but has some different characteristics. The Lector Digicode S-192 also features a High Resolution USB input which is not only suitable for 24Bit 192 KHz PCM signals, but also for 24Bit/384KHz DXD signals. Furthermore, the Digicode S-192 is equipped with a sampling rate display, which precisely counts and displays the samples. Is your digital source not accurate? The Lector Digicode S-192 will show you. The Lector Digicode S-192 has 4 Selected Gold Selection ECC-81 Long Life tubes in the output. These tubes are directly connected to the output of the 4 special DA Converters. The Lector Digicode S-192 DA conversion is done with 4 multibit R2R Burr Brown DAC Chips. The digital signal and the analog output signal are fully balanced. The dual tube sets are necessary for the fully balanced outputs. The Lector Digicode S-192 is therefore a true balanced DA Converter. Unbalanced outputs are also available. Like the Digicode 704, the Digicode S-192 also works with an external Power Supply. You can choose between the Lector PSU-DGC, an outstanding external power supply with 3 completely separate power circuits for Analog and Digital, including 3 separate transformers. You can also choose the new Super Power Supply, the Lector PSU-D192. This power supply has no fewer than 7 separate power circuits and 5 transformers. The power circuits can be switched on and off individually for both power supplies. You can, for example, keep the digital part of the Lector Digicode S-192 powered for maximum sound quality, and switch off the power supply for the analog output stage, including the tubes. The long life Gold Selection ECC-81 tubes reach operating temperature within fifteen minutes and sound as intended. The Lector Digicode S-192 comes standard with 5 digital inputs. 1 x AES/EBU, 1 x SPDIF Coax and 1 x SPDIF BNC, a USB High Resolution, and an Optical Toslink. The Lector Digicode S-192 has a resolution of 24Bit/192KHz on every input and even 24Bit/384KHz over the USB input. The Lector Digicode S-192 is therefore the D/A converter you can use in any situation, and that offers you optimal sound quality in any situation. In terms of sound, the Lector Digicode S-192 is again a true Lector.
