General: Bricasti USA manufactures high-end audio equipment for studio use. There is a good chance that you own CDs or LPs that were mixed using Bricasti equipment. Especially the digital reverb processors are world-renowned. For about the past 10 years, Bricasti has also been making high-end equipment for the home. The first product is the excellently tested M1 DSD/PCM DA Converter. The first dual mono DA converter that can decode all digital signals in the world. Bricasti's second product is the M28 Mono Power Amplifier. We present to you here the new Bricasti M15, the stereo version of the Bricasti M28. The Bricasti M15 is the challenger to other top stereo power amplifiers such as the Soulution 710, the Spectral DMA300RS, the Mark Levinson 532 and other top power amplifiers.

Technology: The M15 is derived from the exclusive and outstanding Bricasti M28 monoblocks. The M15 is the stereo version of achieving the ideal power amplifier. This begins with the M15's chassis. The chassis is the foundation on which everything is built. The Bricasti M15 is entirely constructed from CNC machined aluminum panels. This chassis is completely resonance-free and therefore extremely stable, which offers significant sound advantages. The Bricasti M15 is then equipped with a massive power supply, discretely regulated, which provides each section with its own independently regulated power supply line. The construction of the Bricasti M15 itself is fully balanced, from input to output. The output power seems modest, 125 watts per channel at 8 ohms, but the Bricasti M15 is very suitable for all speakers, even those with difficult impedance. The Bricasti M15 delivers 2 x 500 watts continuously at 2 ohms and you will be amazed at the power output and the ease with which this power is delivered. You can therefore also drive very difficult speakers if needed. The chassis remains sufficiently cool under all conditions. The Bricasti M15 can be set in 4 ways.

1. Completely off, large power button off. Unit is completely shut down. Consumption: 0 watts

2. Standby minimum. Large power button on. LED flashes briefly. Consumption: 1 watt

3. Standby normal. Large power button on. LED flashes slowly. Consumption: 80 watts.

4. On. LED lights continuously. Idle consumption: 170 watts. Unit is playing music.

The Bricasti M15 has an adjustable, relay-controlled input sensitivity circuit, which allows you to optimize each pre-stage in 3 steps of 6dB. The Bricasti M15 stands on special Stillpoints feet with ball bearings for decoupling.

Listening: The Bricasti M15 has a clearly perceptible natural and analog character, and actually no distinctive "sound". The M15 has all audiophile qualities such as openness, 3D imaging, speed and purity, and a glowing bass reproduction, but does so without imprinting its own signature on the sound. The Bricasti M15 does not participate in the trend of trying to sound as bright and fast as possible, with the result that the reproduction sounds glassy, thin, and sometimes even outright aggressive. With Bricasti amplifiers, it's not about how much bass they provide or how fierce the dynamics are, no, it's about how these amplifiers render the music.
