General : Bricasti USA manufactures high-end audio equipment for the studio. There is a good chance that you own CDs or LPs that were mixed using Bricasti equipment. Especially their digital reverb processors are world-renowned. For about 10 years, Bricasti has also been making high-end equipment for the home. The first product is the excellently tested M1 DSD/PCM DA Converter. The first Dual Mono DA Converter that can decode all digital signals in the world. The second product from Bricasti is the M28 Mono Power Amplifier. We present to you here the new Bricasti M15, the stereo version of the Bricasti M28. The Bricasti M15 is a challenger to other top stereo power amplifiers such as the Soulution 710, the Spectral DMA300RS, the Mark Levinson 532 and other top power amplifiers.

Technology : The M15 is derived from the exclusive and excellent Bricasti M28 monoblocks. The M15 is the stereo version of achieving the ideal power amplifier. That starts with the M15 in the chassis. The chassis is the foundation on which everything is built. The Bricasti M15 is entirely built from CNC-milled aluminum panels. This chassis is completely resonance-free, and thus extremely stable which offers great sonic advantages. The Bricasti M15 is then equipped with a massive power supply, discretely regulated, and this provides all sections with their own independently regulated power line. The architecture of the Bricasti M15 itself is fully balanced, from input to output. The output power seems modest, 125 watts per channel at 8 ohms, but the Bricasti M15 is very suitable for all speakers, even those with difficult impedance. The Bricasti M15 delivers 2 x 500 watts continuously at 2 ohms and you will be amazed at the power output and the ease with which this power is delivered. You can thus also drive even very difficult speakers. The chassis remains sufficiently cool under all conditions. The Bricasti M15 can be set in 4 ways.

1. Completely off, main power button off. Unit is completely switched off. Consumption: 0 watts

2. Minimal standby. Main power button on. LED flashes rapidly. Consumption: 1 watt

3. Normal standby. Main power button on. LED flashes slowly. Consumption: 80 watts.

4. On. LED lights continuously. Idle consumption: 170 watts. Unit is playing music.

The Bricasti M15 has an adjustable, relay-controlled input sensitivity circuit, allowing you to optimize each input stage in 3 steps of 6dB. The Bricasti M15 sits on special Stillpoints feet with ball bearings for isolation.

Listening : The Bricasti M15 has a clearly perceptible natural and analog character, and actually no own "sound". The M15 has all audiophile qualities such as openness, 3D, speed and purity and a warm bass reproduction, but does so without imposing its own signature on the sound. The Bricasti M15 does not follow the trend of trying to sound as bright and as fast as possible, where the result is that the playback sounds glassy, thin and sometimes downright aggressive. With Bricasti amplifiers it is not about how much bass they deliver, or how bright the dynamics are, no, it is about how these amplifiers render the music.
