General: The Quad 44 and 306 together form a beautiful vintage amplifier set. Quad has been known for years for their high-end equipment. The 44 and 306 are from Quad's golden years. This set dates from the 1980s, not exactly young by any means. Yet aside from the design, the age is not evident in the set—they still look wonderful! The Quad 44 preamplifier features various inputs, input selection, diverse tone control and filter options. The input modules are also interchangeable, and we supply an extra Phono module. The Quad 306 is a stereo power amplifier with 50 watts per ohm, powerful enough for most listening situations. All in all, a nice stereo set for the collector or simply for enjoying quality sound.
