EN.
General : The Western Electric WE300B tube is one of the best and most well-known 300B tubes available. The American manufacturer Western Electric is also the inventor of the 300B tube, and in 1938 Western Electric introduced the 300B tube to the market. The WE300B tube is still produced today in America at Western Electric's 'Rossville Works' factory, which was specially built for the purpose of producing tubes.

Details : The most remarkable thing about the Western Electric WE300B tube is its extremely long lifespan. The expected playing hours under normal conditions are estimated at as much as 40,000(!) hours. So you can look far ahead with a set of WE300B tubes. The WE300B excels in single ended class A amplifiers, but they are also very suitable for push pull amplifiers.

Sound : The Western Electric WE300B is one of the most musical 300B tubes on the market. The sound is very transparent and detailed in the midrange/high range, with a very refined and pleasant glow. Effortlessly, the soundstage detaches from the loudspeakers and fills the room with a large 3D bubble of pure music. The bass reproduction is also of a very high level. Many 300B tubes can sound somewhat woolly in the low range, but with the WE300B tubes the bass remains tight, rhythmic and musical. The Western Electric WE300B is a true high end tube, suitable for very high-quality audio systems. In single ended use, a loudspeaker with an efficient rating and a favorable impedance curve is recommended for the best results, for example a full-range loudspeaker, horn loudspeaker or open baffle loudspeaker. The result of the WE300B tube in a good quality amplifier combined with a good and suitable loudspeaker is pure magic.

The Western Electric WE300B tubes are new in box and available from stock at Ohm-Audio B.V.
