General: The Western Electric WE300B tube is one of the best and most renowned 300B tubes available. American manufacturer Western Electric is also the inventor of the 300B tube; in 1938 Western Electric introduced the 300B tube to the market. The WE300B tube is still being produced in America today at Western Electric's 'Rossville Works' factory, which was specially built for the purpose of tube production.

Highlights: The most remarkable feature of the Western Electric WE300B tube is its extremely long lifespan; the expected operating hours under normal conditions are estimated at as much as 40,000(!) hours. You can therefore get tremendous longevity from a set of WE300B tubes. The WE300B excels in single-ended class A amplifiers, but they are also very suitable for push-pull amplifiers.

Sound: The Western Electric WE300B is one of the most musical 300B tubes on the market. The sound is very transparent and detailed in the midrange/treble area with a very refined and pleasant glow.
