General: The Sonus Faber Duetto is the latest creation from the renowned Italian speaker manufacturer. The ultimate all-in-one speaker system in a stylish enclosure.

Operation: The Sonus Faber Duetto features multiple connections. An analog input that can be switched between Line or Phono. This allows you to connect a turntable or CD player. A Toslink optical input for televisions or CD players. And an HDMI ARC input for televisions. There is also a subwoofer output for those who want extra bass in the sound. Internet connectivity is completely wireless, but for a more stable connection, a network cable can also be connected. The Sonus Faber Duetto can be controlled with: Bluetooth, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, BubbleUPnP, Apple Airplay or as a RoonReady Endpoint. Chromecast is also built-in.

Enclosure: The Sonus Faber Duetto features various unique techniques combined with classic materials to create a natural and recognizable high-end sound from a modern system. The enclosure is a horn-shaped sturdy wooden cabinet, finished with an attractive and neutral Graphite (Black) veneer look. On the rear are cooling ribs that blend beautifully with the rest of the cabinet. In the center of all the cooling ribs is the oval bass reflex port. This design prevents the Sonus Faber Duetto from overheating, and the bass extends to unprecedented depths for speakers of this size.

Drivers and Amplification: The Sonus Faber Duetto uses a high-quality silk dome tweeter supported by a special 'wave guide ring' that provides better radiation behavior. The midrange/woofer is a 5.25" driver with a paper pulp cone. This driver is powered by a powerful Neodymium magnet for optimal dynamics, and the driver sits in a specially designed basket that resonates less and provides easier air circulation. This keeps the midtones clean and clear sounding when playing music with heavy bass at high volumes. The amplification is also unique, as each Duetto contains 2 amplifiers. A 100 Watt Class A/B amplifier for the tweeter, which provides detailed yet refined and organic treble reproduction. And a 250 Watt Class D amplifier for the midrange/woofer that provides power, body, control and dynamics in the bass and midrange. These amplifiers are tuned together with the drivers to deliver a dynamic and powerful yet natural sound.

Listening: The Sonus Faber Duetto is a remarkable speaker system in terms of design, functionality, connectivity options and sound. Remarkable what these relatively small and elegant speakers create in terms of stereo imaging. The treble is very detailed and beautiful, voices and instruments separate well from the speakers and sound intimate, full and lively. The bass is truly unique, very deep, tight and rhythmic with very little cabinet coloration. The music reproduction is simply very complete and harmonious. Thanks to the built-in near-wall and away-from-wall settings and high frequency equalizer, the Sonus Faber Duetto can be completely adjusted to personal preference and room.
