General: The Vox G3 is the latest version of the flagship center loudspeaker from the renowned Italian brand Sonus Faber.

Technology: The Sonus Faber Vox G3 features the latest technology from Sonus Faber. The newest neodymium-driven 150mm midrange speakers with phase plug, which you'll also find in the Amati G5 and Serafino G2, are installed. Additionally, there are two 180mm woofers and a very precise neodymium-driven 288 D.A.D. (Damped Apex Dome) tweeter in the Sonus Faber Vox G3. The cabinet is very solidly built, heavy and resonance-free. The design is a magnificent combination of wood with aluminum accents and a leather front, especially in the beautiful Wenge High Gloss finish, this Vox G3 center loudspeaker is a true eye catcher. The cabinet is vented via a clever bass reflex system called 'Stealth Ultraflex', which are elongated narrow openings that provide much less pressure and boom compared to a regular round bass reflex port. These Stealth Ultraflex ports provide better pressure dispersion from the cabinet, and an added benefit is that the Sonus Faber Vox G3 can also be placed closer to a wall compared to a center with a regular bass reflex port. Nevertheless, some space around the Vox G3 is desirable for optimal results, as it remains a large center loudspeaker.

Listening: The Sonus Faber Vox G3 performs its task as a center excellently, perfectly complementing the main speakers and delivering full, precise and well-articulated voice reproduction. Thanks to the new midrange speakers and crossover technology from Sonus Faber, the Vox G3 is more neutral and dynamic than its predecessors. This also makes it very suitable for music and action films. Yet it remains a Sonus Faber, and despite the dynamics, detail and explosiveness that this Vox G3 delivers, the sound remains comfortable because there is always a certain calm and warmth to the sound. The Sonus Faber Vox G3 can be used with many surround or 3-channel installations, but of course it performs best with a set of Sonus Faber Guarneri, Serafino, Amati, il Cremonese, Lilium or Aida speakers.
