General : The Ansuz Acoustics Digitalz A2 Ethernet is the entry-level ethernet cable from Ansuz Acoustics from Denmark. The cable is excellently finished with high-quality gold-plated connectors in an aluminum housing, pure silver-plated conductors and effective shielding. The Ansuz Digitalz A2 Ethernet is a beautiful, thick and stiff cable. The Ansuz Digitalz A2 Ethernet uses distinctive techniques to keep the noise floor as low as possible and thereby deliver a clean signal to the receiver. The Ansuz Digitalz A2 Ethernet has more of these noise suppressing techniques on board than the entry-level model, the Digitalz X2 Ethernet. The Ansuz Digitalz A2 is therefore clearly better than the X2, above the A2 the reference series of Ansuz Acoustics begins, starting with the Digitalz D2 Ethernet. The Ansuz A2 sets new standards in terms of price-to-quality ratio for ethernet cables. Although it is the entry-level ethernet cable from Ansuz Acoustics, the (sound) quality is still of exceptional height, and often better than its similarly priced competition.

Technology : The Ansuz Digitalz A2 Ethernet uses Ansuz Acoustics' unique Tesla Coil technology. The principle of this Tesla Coil technology is simple: a Tesla Coil consists of 1 coil and 1 counter coil. When a noise spike passes through the coil, the counter coil creates a counter spike out of phase, which cancels out the initial noise spike and thus reduces noise. You have active and passive Tesla Coils in different types and sizes, one type is more efficient than the other but the result remains the same, the more of these Tesla Coils are used, the less noise enters your signal path and the more beautiful, quieter and detailed the playback of the recordings you listen to. The X2 also uses Tesla Coil technology, but to a lesser extent. The Ansuz Digitalz A2 Ethernet has 2 Passive End Coils, which are passive Tesla Coils attached to the conductors at the ends of the cable, thereby reducing noise immediately on both sides. Where the X2 uses 1 Passive End Coil, the A2 uses 2 Passive End Coils. What the Ansuz Digitalz A2 Ethernet also has that the X2 does not have is a Passive Cable Tesla Coil, this Tesla Coil is located in the middle of the cable and is a visible bump on the cable, to eliminate extra noise halfway. Additionally, the Ansuz Digitalz A2 Ethernet also has conductors that consist of 2 times as much surface area for better signal transmission.

Sound Characteristics : The Ansuz Acoustics Digitalz A2 Ethernet has an enormously natural and organic sound, just like all other cables and products from Ansuz Acoustics. The sound of the Ansuz Acoustics Digitalz A2 Ethernet shares many characteristics that you also encounter in the higher series of Ansuz Acoustics. The Ansuz Digitalz A2 Ethernet is clearly a step up compared to the X2, the sound is more musical, more refined and you can more easily hear what's happening in the recording. Everything you hear is pure music, we could talk about the body of the bass and the detail in the treble. But at Ansuz Acoustics we don't need to talk about that, instead we talk about the enormous musical qualities that the products of Ansuz Acoustics bring with them. The entry-level model, the Digitalz A2 Ethernet is absolutely no exception to this. The spatial imaging is large, airy and pleasant and you are immediately involved with the performers and the music. The time to listen to sounds is over, the time to listen to music has begun.
