Features : The Ansuz Acoustics Digitalz USB A2 Level is the mid-range USB cable from Ansuz Acoustics. Price-to-quality-wise, this is one of the best USB cables on the market. Certainly at this current clearance price, you won't find a better USB cable. Ansuz Acoustics does things a little differently, but in doing so they have a very distinctive sound character which is very musical. At first glance, the Ansuz Digitalz A2 USB appears to be a fairly normal, high-quality finished USB cable. Good shielding, a nice jacket around the cable, gold-plated connectors and silver-plated conductors.

But what makes the Ansuz Digitalz A2 USB special is the application of Ansuz Acoustics' Tesla Coil technology. The Tesla Coils of Ansuz Acoustics are an effective and high-quality technique, based on a simple principle. A Tesla Coil consists of 2 coils, a coil and a counter coil. As soon as the coil detects a noise spike, the counter coil creates a noise spike out of phase, which cancels out the initial noise spike. Think of it as noise-cancelling headphones, which do exactly the same thing, only electronically where the Ansuz Tesla Coils do it mechanically. The more Tesla Coils applied in the signal path, the better the noise is eliminated.

In the Ansuz Digitalz A2 USB there are 3 passive cable Tesla Coils for noise suppression, consisting of 2 types. The Passive End Coil, of which you will find 2 in the Ansuz Digitalz A2 USB cable, 1 at each end of the cable, just before the connector. These ensure that the noise entering the cable from the source is immediately reduced, and the noise that the cable picks up from the air and remaining noise that the first Tesla Coil could not reduce at the receiver are eliminated. As a third, there is also a Passive Cable Tesla Coil wrapped around the cable halfway along its length, which prevents the cable from picking up as much noise from the air by absorbing it and using the cable's conductor as a counter coil to eliminate the noise.

Sound Characteristics : The Ansuz Digitalz A2 USB sounds natural, spacious and very musical. This is a USB cable that simply sounds analog. The sound is rich in detail without being analytical or technical sounding. The bass is tight and rhythmic and not overdone at all, the sound is nicely balanced and you can listen to it for hours without listener fatigue. There is sufficient calmness present without the cable relying on unnatural warmth or glow.
