Technology : The Ansuz Mainz8 C2 is a mid-range model from the Danish brand Ansuz Acoustics, the C2 sits just below the absolute reference series of Ansuz Acoustics, starting with the D2. The Ansuz Mainz8 C2 utilizes many of Ansuz's distinctive techniques. The Ansuz C2 is equipped with Ansuz Star Grounding Technology. This technique prevents noise from "bleeding" into every individual cable. To eliminate noise, the Ansuz Mainz8 C2 is equipped with 24 Active Tesla Coils, these are coils that consist of 2 parts, a coil and a counter coil. When the coil encounters a noise spike, the counter coil creates a counter spike out of phase. This cancels out the noise spike; the more Tesla Coils, the more effective the total amount of noise elimination. The Active Tesla Coils operate under voltage, making them more effective than the Passive Tesla Coils of Ansuz Acoustics. The Ansuz Mainz8 also features 6 Active Cable Tesla Coils. The principle of these Tesla Coils is the same as that of the regular Active Tesla Coils, however the Active Cable Tesla Coils are mounted directly to the internal wiring. Finally, the Ansuz Mainz8 C2 also has 8 Analog Dither Circuitry units, this technique originates from radar technology. The Analog Dither Circuitry makes the Tesla Coils emit pulsing signals with precisely determined frequencies. These signals are sent out of phase. The result of this technique is that the music signal is significantly amplified and the background noise floor is eliminated. The way Ansuz Acoustics tackles noise does not restrict the power signal, so you don't experience loss of dynamics. Even large power amplifiers can safely be connected to the Mainz8 models of Ansuz Acoustics.
