The Antipodes OLADRA uses 2 mainboards and a USB reclocker, each with their own high-quality power supply.

The first mainboard is the latest and most powerful V7H mainboard from Antipodes, it is the powerful computer engine to enable the Server Apps to effortlessly process a huge music library, reconstruct internet streams to restore the sound quality of the original file, process DSP functions without quality loss, and to send the clearest possible stream to the Player app.

The second mainboard is the advanced V7X player mainboard for player/renderer purposes. This mainboard takes care of receiving the music signal from the server and passing the music signal to the digital outputs. By separating the server process and the player process by using 2 different power supplies and 2 different mainboards, they don't interfere with each other. This provides enormous sound improvement compared to 1 mainboard doing all the work.

Thirdly, there is the completely new, fully isolated USB reclocking engine. This converts the internal USB signal to S/PDIF and I2S signals, this not only provides a wider choice of outputs, but this reclocker also improves the sound. You can also choose to use the USB output, then the reclocker is not used. For DACs that have paid considerable attention to the quality of their USB input and for people who want to play DSD files (higher than DSD64) the USB output is also a very good option. But with many DACs people will prefer the S/PDIF Coax/BNC or AES/EBU or I2S outputs.

Easily place and configure your own SSD drives, there is space for 3 different SSD drives on the back, or have them installed for you by your Hi-Fi dealer up to a maximum of 24 Terabyte (3 x 8 Tb)! It is also possible to connect a USB drive or USB stick to the back to play from. Placing the music on your SSDs is easy via Windows Explorer or Apple Finder. You can also choose to use the Antipodes File Manager application. It is also possible to connect a CD ripper via USB to the Antipodes OLADRA to rip CDs and place them directly on the SSDs.

Sound: After hearing the Antipodes K50 we thought streaming couldn't sound better, but the Antipodes OLADRA takes the already fantastic sound of the other Antipodes models to the next level. The first thing that stands out is that there is more resolution in the sound, more transparency, space and detail. Everything also sounds more natural, organic and refined. You won't miss any details in the recording but listening is absolutely not fatiguing. We haven't heard a server/streamer that sounds better than the Antipodes OLADRA.
