Technical : The Antipodes Edge Duet is a Roon Server and RoonReady player in one chassis. Besides Roon, the Antipodes Edge can also be used with Squeezebox, HQ Player and Plex Media Server (and a few other software). For music storage, it is possible to easily install up to 4TB of SSD storage yourself.

Connections : The Antipodes Edge has 2 pure audio outputs. USB Audio out to connect the DS Edge directly to your USB DAC, and a high-quality SPDIF Coax RCA Output. You connect the Antipodes Edge to the network, configure the player you want to use, and let the Edge do the processing.

Power supply : The Antipodes Edge comes with the discreetly regulated ODAPS power supply from Antipodes. This power supply is significantly responsible for the excellent sound quality.

Listening : All Antipodes streamers excel with their very pure digital signal, without noise, distortion or compromised jitter, and without the frequently used Jitterbug and noise suppressors. You will be amazed at how much new information you hear. Everything sounds clear but very analog and organic. The special external discreetly regulated power supply does its job excellently. Rhythmically, everything also clicks perfectly. The Antipodes Edge sounds very detailed, but listener fatigue is not an issue. Although the Antipodes Edge may be older (for a streamer), the Edge runs Roon effortlessly today and easily compares to other high-end streamers of today.
