General : Excellent sounding stereo power amplifier, NL import, from 2021.

Technical : The Audio Research REF75 SE is a balanced tube amplifier, and in our opinion, one of the best amplifiers from Audio Research's lineup. The beauty of the Audio Research REF75 SE compared to the other and larger models is that it has a less complex construction. Also, the Audio Research REF75 SE has no fans, which is beneficial for the amplifier's lifespan and does not disturb during listening. The Audio Research REF75 SE is built around the new KT-150 Triode tube and the associated 6H30 driver tubes. The Audio Research REF75 SE has a C19 (20a) mains connector, and has exclusively balanced XLR inputs. The output transformers have separate 4ohm and 8ohm outputs. The meters are the latest LED illuminated power meters. These are also used for tube adjustment. This must be done occasionally and is a matter of adjustment using a small screwdriver.

Listening : The Audio Research REF75 SE is undoubtedly a beautifully sounding power amplifier, with plenty of grip even in the bass. The reproduction is fast, exciting, and the 3D presentation is excellent. We have driven Avalon Isis with the Audio Research REF75 SE, and also Borresen 01 SSE small monitors. The new Seawave Acoustic AM23 also sounds excellent through the Audio Research REF75 SE. 2 x 75 Watt is more than sufficient, even for high listening volumes. In our opinion, the Audio Research REF75 SE is the highlight of the Audio Research program. In summary : This excellent Audio Research REF75 SE is our demo model, an original SE version, is from 2021 and has been played for a maximum of 500 hours with the original tubes, which means the tubes can still be used for many years. This Audio Research REF75 SE is in MINT condition and is NL import and completely complete.
