Technical : The Chario Constellation Ursa Major is a large 4-way speaker, although it looks bigger in photos than it actually is. The cabinet consists of 2 separate parts stacked on each other (although the upper half cannot slide). In the upper part of the cabinet you'll find the 38mm soft dome tweeter, the 130mm paper/carbon composite midrange driver and a 170mm paper woofer for the mid/bass. At the bottom of the lower part of the cabinet are two 170mm polymer composite woofers for the bass, which are supported by a bass port also located at the bottom.

Listening : While the Chario Constellation Ursa Major is a large speaker, it is certainly not one that blasts music explosively and forcefully into the room. At higher volumes with electronic music you can certainly manage well, but what the Chario Constellation Ursa Major is primarily good at is making music in a refined and pleasant manner. The highs are extremely detailed, crystal clear but also silky soft. Voices sound powerful and pleasant. And the bass goes very deep, but above all sounds controlled and beautifully rounded.
