Technique : The Classe CAP-2100 is a heavily constructed amplifier, with generous output power. 2 x 100 watts at 8 ohms, doubling to 2 x 200 watts at 4 ohms. Volume control is done electronically in the analog domain. The Classe CAP-2100 is largely built discretely around a massive power supply. Operation is intuitive via the LCD touchscreen, and all parameters are fully adjustable. The remote control is a beautiful aluminum piece with built-in lighting.

Sound Quality : Sonically, the Classe CAP-2100 sounds like a separate preamplifier and power amplifier of very high quality. The soundstage is quiet and beautifully 3D. A big, full sound with fine dynamic contrasts. Really enjoyable to listen to.
