EN.
General: Ultra High End Discrete DA Converter
Technology: The Emm Labs DA2 is an extremely exclusive DA Converter, hand-built in Canada by the digital audio pioneer Ed Meitner. This outstanding-sounding DA Converter does not use standard DA conversion chips, but instead uses their own technology, the discrete DA Converter M-DAT. This special technology is found nowhere else. The Emm Labs DA2 can handle virtually all resolutions, including 24-bit 192KHz on every SPDIF input and up to 384KHz DSD over USB. The chassis is made from CNC-milled panels and the power supply is a Power Factory Corrected unit. More important than the technical details is the overall design and extremely careful construction of this DA Converter, which is of the highest quality.
Listening: Listening to a reference-quality DA converter of this caliber is truly exceptional. The first thing that stands out is the enormous spatiality. You rarely hear it this natural, and we don't experience such a large 3D soundstage every day. There is also tremendous clarity in the sound. The dynamics are overwhelming, but in a very refined way. These qualities combined are very special. The Emm Labs DA2 is one of the best-sounding DA Converters we know. This Emm Labs DA2 comes from the original Dutch importer, is in excellent condition, is complete and comes with 12 months full warranty.
