Technical : The Gato FM-2 is a very advanced compact loudspeaker. Equipped with the finest construction materials and speaker units. The rear is part of the enclosure construction and is made of cast aluminium. Extremely rigid and ensures a very quiet, resonance-free cabinet. The crossover consists of only top-class components and is potted in a resonance-damping material. The woofer is the most expensive Scanspeak unit, customized for Gato. A triple magnet provides enormous driving force. Dynamics and precision guaranteed. The ring radiator features a billet aluminium faceplate and a neodymium magnet, again for extra dynamics and precision. The front covers are held in place by small magnets. No plastic plugs here, and no distracting components. The faceplate also cannot vibrate along with the speaker.

Listening : The Gato FM-2 sounds truly amazing. Open, fast and very musical. The FM-2 sounds much larger than it is. The Gato FM-2 also sounds extremely detailed.
