The Gigawatt PC-3 SE Evo+ features the most advanced power purification circuits available and protects your installation against overload. It is the perfect power supply for any Hifi, High-End and Video installation. Unlike the Power Plants of some competitors, the Gigawatt PC-3 SE Evo+ itself consumes very little power, only a few watts. A competing Power Plant that must deliver 500 Watts also consumes about 500 Watts itself, so together 1000 watts, gets hot, and wears out. Technology : The Gigawatt PC-3 SE Evo+ is equipped with advanced, in-house made Multi Stage Parallel filters (Super MMS Filtering Cores) instead of conventional transformers.

This Gigawatt PC-3 SE Evo+ also has 3 separate zones. A separate zone for Digital devices (CD players, DA Converters, Streamers), a separate zone for low power Analog (Preamplifiers, Phono preamplifiers, Turntables) and a separate zone for High Power Analog (Amplifiers, Power Amplifiers). The advantage of this is that the connected devices can no longer interfere with each other. A power amplifier tends to feed power back into the mains, and this is prevented this way. The Gigawatt PC-3 SE Evo+ is made from very high quality components. Due to the new high efficiency filter circuits, the components are mounted on new boards, soldered with silver solder. The circuit boards themselves are double-sided, and equipped with 280 um thick copper traces which are silver-plated. The power distribution is via heavy polished and silver-plated copper bars and the internal wiring is executed as silver-plated OFC copper, insulated with Teflon, sourced from the Gigawatt LC-2 MK3+ Power Cable. The Gigawatt PC-3 SE Evo+ has a special protection system, executed without wires or fuses. Fuses compromise the speed of the signal, so they are not used. The overvoltage protection circuit is controlled by a sensor at the input and features a Plasma relay. This way the Gigawatt PC-3 SE Evo+ offers your system excellent protection against overvoltage or power spikes.

Proper operation of the Gigawatt PC-3 SE Evo+ is indicated by a LED Voltage Display on the front. This displays the incoming voltage exactly. The Gigawatt PC-3 SE Evo+ also features an additional circuit that monitors the power supply. Also very useful is the Phase indicator, by means of a red LED on the back. If it is on, then the PC-3 SE Evo+ is connected incorrectly and you must turn the power plug around. This way your system is always properly connected to the correct phase and the Gigawatt PC-3 SE Evo+ functions as it should. The Gigawatt PC-3 SE Evo+ has power distribution bars made of solid OFC copper, which are then silver-plated and polished. The Gigawatt PC-3 SE Evo+ is equipped with 6 high quality silver-plated Gigawatt G-040 Shuko outlets. These outlets are equipped with heavy brass bars, which are silver-plated and polished at Gigawatt. The large contact surface and the heavy silver layer guarantee a very long service life, even with repeated plugging and unplugging. The Gigawatt PC-3 SE Evo+ is built in a heavy and stable metal housing, has a massive anodized aluminum front, and stands on new anti-resonance feet.

DC Blocker Board : Previously, the DC Blocker was an option for the PC-4 Evo+ Power Conditioner. This DC Blocker (DCB) is now standard built into the PC-3 SE Evo+. A DCB removes the last traces of DC components from the power supply. Despite the fact that we use 230 Volt AC in the Netherlands, there is often still a few volts of DC in the supplied power. Your equipment may react poorly to this. The transformer may start to hum, and your Hifi equipment may become restless. A DC Blocker Board removes the DC components from the power supply so your Hifi equipment performs optimally. Incidentally, an isolation transformer also does this very well, but an isolation transformer is again very bad for sound quality, so do not use it.

Power Buffer : In addition to the fast and compact power storage technology used in the PF-1 and PF-2 Power Strips and the PC-1 Evo, the PC-3 SE Evo+ has 3 extra large storage buffers (Double Buffer High Capacity Power Banks). Each zone has its own buffers. The great advantage is an additional increase in speed and power for your connected equipment, and even better separation between the 3 zones.
