The bass section consists of a 12 inch Motional Feedback woofer in a sealed enclosure. The woofer operates only up to 150Hz. With the included Servo Control Unit, the bass is actively controlled and corrected. The woofer therefore requires its own amplifier. This is supplied by us in the form of a powerful NAD 218THX. This reliable and effective power amplifier delivers 400 watts at 4 ohms, and is very efficient. The new High Energy L-Emim is an ultra-light and reliable ribbon speaker, which handles the fundamental tones from 150Hz-500Hz. The new High Energy Emim is the important ribbon midrange unit that covers the range from 500Hz to 3000Hz. The new High Energy Emit Ribbon Tweeter at the front handles the rest up to 42kHz. At the rear there is also an ambiance Emit. The L-Emim, Emim and Emit are adjustable via switches with +/- 1dB. The Infinity IRS Epsilon is therefore optimally adjustable for any room.
