Technical : The Lamm ML2.2 is a uniquely constructed mono Single Ended power amplifier. The Lamm ML 2.2 delivers 18 watts continuous, in pure class A. Each Lamm ML2.2 weighs 37kg, and is entirely handmade in the USA. The owner of Lamm, Vladimir Lamm, accepts nothing but the very best. Many components are handmade. The power transformers and output transformers are also made by Lamm themselves. The tube complement is: 1 x 12AXt with 2 x 6N6P and 1 x 6C33C tubes in the amplifier section, and 1 x 6AK5, 1 x 5651 and 1 x 6C33C in the power supply section. The adjustment points for the important output tubes are now on the top plate making adjustment much easier than on its predecessor, the ML2.1. The tubes themselves last a very long time. 3000-5000 hours is really not an exception. This Lamm ML2.2 set is from 2015 and played with the original tubes, which still performed perfectly. However, this Lamm ML2.2 set has been equipped with new matched tubes, with zero play hours, and the Lamm ML2.2 is optimally adjusted. The Lamm ML 2.2 is a true pure audio amplifier of the highest class. The Lamm ML2.2 easily drives even difficult speakers. Sonically, the Lamm ML2.2 stands alone in its class. If you have a good match with your speaker, this could well be your very last amplifier.
