General : The Lector Audio ZAX-70 is an affordable high-end integrated amplifier from Lector Audio.

Technical Details : The Lector Audio ZAX-70 is entirely discretely built, so no single IC is included in the signal path. The ZAX-70 delivers a solid and stable 2 x 70 Watts continuous at 8 Ohms. This Lector Audio ZAX-70 is equipped with an enormous ring core trafo in the power supply and advanced Sanken Power BJT's in the output stage. These output transistors ensure optimal drive even for the most demanding speakers. The 5 line inputs feature gold-plated RCA connectors, and switching between inputs is done through high-quality gold-plated relays. This ensures optimal sound quality and a very long lifespan. As an extra feature, there is also a passive line out installed for, for example, driving an additional amplifier or an active subwoofer. The volume control is an expensive ALPS Blue Velvet potentiometer, motor-driven. The Lector Audio ZAX-70 is built according to the Round Edge principle, which simply means that the chassis has rounded sides. The ZAX-70 stands on 3 aluminum feet with anti- resonance material incorporated.

The previous owner had the amplifier in his possession for only 2 months before he found what he was looking for. This Lector ZAX-70 has hardly been played at all and is in like-new condition.
