General : The Magico S3 is a closed 3-way reference loudspeaker, made entirely of aluminum.

Technical : You can see the Magico S3 as the natural successor to the superbly tested Magico V3 loudspeaker, the speaker where it all started at Magico, together with the Mini II. The Magico S3 is the largest monocoque loudspeaker from Magico. The units used are of the latest generation. Two fast and very pure bass speakers, the Magico Hybrid Nanotec Aluminum woofers, a Pure Nanotec Midrange, and the Beryllium dome tweeter. The sensitivity of this closed aluminum loudspeaker is a respectable 88dB, so they are suitable for all stable and very good sounding amplifiers from about 50 watts to 500 watts. They are quite heavy, almost 70 kg net, which indicates an excellent resonance-free enclosure. The whole thing has turned out so well that the Magico S3 takes on a true reference status.
