One chassis contains the power supply and regulators, including the display. The other chassis contains all connections, so the audio signal stays away from interfering components. The Mark Levinson No.32 is truly an over-the-top built pre-amplifier with outstanding sound quality. If the Mark Levinson 32 were built and sold today, it would be in a price range above €40,000.
