Technical : The Moon 870A is fully dual mono and balanced in design. Inside you will see everything built in duplicate for the left and right channels, practically 2 monoblock amplifiers packed in 1 large but stylish enclosure. The power supplies consist of 2 enormous toroidal transformers and 8 large filter capacitors. The entire design is very clean and symmetrical. The Moon 870A is extremely quiet and has exceptionally low distortion figures on paper, which you will also hear in the music reproduction. The Moon 870A is a typical high-end power amplifier, large, heavy, reliable and extremely musical.

Listening : The Moon 870A exudes control, even very difficult speakers are driven with pleasure by this powerhouse. The sound is very controlled, smooth and spacious.
