General : The Sonus Faber Olympica 3 is the largest in the Olympica Series, designed and built in Italy.

Technology : The Olympica 3 is a beautifully built and sounding floor-standing loudspeaker. Built with the finest materials, this Olympica is a model of elegance. The cabinet of the Olympica 3 features an A-Symmetric design. A horn-like shape but adapted. The A-symmetry creates a calm internal acoustic. The Olympica series cabinet is very quiet, with no annoying resonances from the cabinet. The reflex port is also a Sonus Faber development. No booming bass ports, but a Stealth Ultraflex port, which functions excellently. The crossover is also of very high quality, featuring beautiful Mundorf Evo oil capacitors and Jantzen coils. The top is made of solid walnut wood, finished with leather. The Olympica 3 is a relatively large 3-way system with very beautiful drivers, and it sounds excellent.

Sound : The sound is typically the new Sonus Faber, so calmly tuned, but also very refined and now also dynamic and very transparent. The soundstage is grand, compelling and as mentioned, also dynamically refined. The dynamics are excellent and this Olympica series sounds more dynamic than the earlier series, while maintaining the passionate and musical reproduction. The bass reproduction is solid, pure and very deep. This set of Olympica III is in good condition and comes complete with the original packaging.
