General : The Sonus Faber Olympica 3 is the largest in the Olympica Series, designed and built in Italy.

Technology : The Olympica 3 is a beautifully built and sounding floorstanding loudspeaker. Built with the finest materials, this Olympica is a masterpiece of elegance. The cabinet of the Olympica 3 features an asymmetrical design. A horn shape, but adapted. The asymmetry creates a calm internal acoustics. Now also available in genuine Wenge wood. The cabinet of the Olympica series is therefore very quiet. No annoying resonances from the cabinet. The reflex port is also a Sonus Faber development. No blowing bass ports, but a Stealth Ultraflex port, which functions excellently. The crossover is also of very high quality, with beautiful Mundorf Evo oil capacitors and Jantzen coils. The top is made of solid walnut wood, finished with leather. The Olympica 3 is a relatively large 3-way system with very beautiful drivers, and it sounds excellent.

Sound : The sound is typically the new Sonus Faber, so calmly tuned, but also very refined and now also dynamic and very transparent. The soundstage is grand, captivating, and as mentioned, also dynamically refined. The dynamics are in excellent order and this Olympica series sounds more dynamic than the previous series, but with the retention of the passionate and musical reproduction.
