The build quality is heavy, solid and very fine. This D700 set is finished in American Cherry wood. The veneer is still in excellent condition, given its age.

Sound : The Tannoy D700 has the true classic Tannoy character. So very much expressiveness in the midrange/vocal area, and a very beautiful and deep bass reproduction combined with a fine and refined treble range.
